Fan Casting Story Notes Part 5 in The Fantastic Four (2012 Reimagined)

Johnny doesn’t know who Doom is and it’s here that Doom recounts his origin and how he thinks Reed interfered with one of his experiments. Doom also reveals he created a machine that would not only make the monsters more powerful, but also subservient to only him, imprisoning Mole Man along with the Four As Doom leaves the heroes to their fates and begins his attack on New York, the FF try to escape. Reed tells Johnny to overheat the machine he’s trapped in to try to destroy it before it kills him. After a few attempts, and a pep talk from Ben, Johnny is successful. With that, Johnny begins to help free his family. Starting with Ben, he uses his bright flame to scare the monsters, causing Ben to finally fight back. They both split up to free Reed and Sue, Ben using all of his strength to free Sue from her own Force Field and Johnny burns the device that is stretching Reed.
