After four people, Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm, get hit with cosmic rays, they get extraordinary powers. Reed can stretch his body into unfathomable ways and becomes Mr. Fantastic. Sue can turn invisible and becomes the Invisible Woman. Johnny's entire body can turn into living fire and becomes the Human Torch. Ben turns into a gigantic rock monster and becomes The Thing. Together, they are the Fantastic Four!
