Rylance as The Mole Man is kind of nuts but in good way to me. He can either go in a total bat**** direction with it like his character in Don’t Look Up or bring a frankly inappropriate amount of gravitas and pathos to a C-list comic book villain and I’m not sure which one I would prefer.

@nathanbates Honestly, I'm kinda thinking both. I'd envision his Mole Man as some who is highly eccentric and unhinged, but is also a rather sympathetic character who was rejected by the world and seems to defend the nation he came to rule. He's grateful for the second chance he's been given to do something meaningful (albeit to a strange group of creatures including Moloids), and his war on the surface would be motivated by his love for his subjects and his own personal bitterness towards the world that made him feel like an outcast. He's bizarre, but tragic. In conclusion: Both is good!

(I regret saying this) I'm not sure about some of the casting for the main four, I mean having Mister Fantastic black is interesting, but the only actor I like is Aaron Taylor Johnson, I guess it's inspired by me casting him as Mister Fantastic in my F4 films. And I apologize for criticizing the casting, even my casting is sometimes not that good.

@rodriguezjace I get that with Daniel it takes a bit of effort o imagine him as Mr. Fantastic. He doesn’t really do these kinds of straightforward leading man parts. He can be a pretty intense onscreen presence as well. Ditto Mia Goth. But we’ve seen him play the resourceful leader type. He can play the intellectual and usually brings enough subtle quirks to his characters to make a character that can often feel stale like Reed Richards pop out in a way that he hasn’t before.

@nathanbates all that being said, I probably would have gone with Daniel as Ben myself. He’s got those incredibly expressive eyes that would work wonderfully underneath all rock make-up/digital effects.
