Fan Casting Falling Down remake (2023)

At the center of the film is citizen Foster, who, committing a series of crimes, moves around Los Angeles in an attempt to get to his ex-wife's house to celebrate his daughter's birthday. Along the way, a series of encounters—both trivial and unexpected—cause him to react with violence and contemplate life, poverty, the economy, and commercialism. Martin Prendergast, an LAPD sergeant who faces his own disappointments in life, hunts down Foster on the day of his retirement.
