Based on the author's own series known as the Tales of the Falklock Northern Railway which is inspired by the Railway Series and its television version of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends, we get a Parks & Recreation/The Office look at life for all the engines of the railways keeping the Scottish island of Falklock running. Spanning a period from 1968 when steam power was abolished on the British mainland to 1993 when all British Railways were making plans to privatize, we see the female steam and diesel engines of this island in action as they grow and evolve to meet changing times. Description of Taylor the Green Express Engine (FKNR #444):

Taylor's important position as the engine who pulls the Express from either Loxwinn or Hilldale through Camelot to Edinburgh and back makes her proud, pompous, arrogant, stubborn, prideful, and self-important, with a good reason too; she is the fastest engine on Falklock. She is proud of this and inclined to boast. But despite her prissiness, she is goodhearted, always willing to forgive, and uses her superior strength to help smaller engines out of trouble. Though she is also vengeful and will plot retribution if she feels her friends has been sufficiently slighted, as mentioned before she is happy to forgive especially after she has ensured some other comeuppance.
