2045. Humanity more than ever began to learn more about the vast universe around them, with expeditions to different corners of the Galaxy. Diana Sanders is part of one of them, leading a group of astronauts with the mission to verify the viability of a planet previously detected by her to be included in the world population program. But when a tragic accident drastically changes plans, Diana will now have to confront a primitive world towards her salvation, with the help of the robot that accompany her. Description of Emperor Sea Strider:

[Sanders] - Is..walking?! The Emperor Sea Strider is the largest living thing in this world (35 meters), which invokes a low rumble, which echoes like thunder. They live in the so-called Amebian Sea (actually a vast gelatinous organism), which they consume as food through their feet, but they need to be constantly walking, as the gelatinous surface of the "sea" cannot otherwise support their massive weight of 190 tons with another way. They are peaceful, with their young flying around them like insects. Sanders and Ike end up unknowingly going up together with Darwin in one of them, which ends up becoming a way for them to cross the "sea" in the middle of a storm.
