Synopsis

In The Eternals, led by Ikaris, the team embarks on a cosmic journey after discovering clues about an upcoming Emergence on Earth. This Emergence heralds the birth of Tiamut the Communicator, a powerful Celestial. As they investigate, the Eternals unravel Galactus's nefarious interest in harnessing Celestial energy for destruction. Racing against time, they confront Galactus to defend humanity from the imminent threat while navigating ancient civilizations and the aftermath of past Emergences.

Description of Phastos (Phastos):

Tragically, during the final battle against Galactus, Phastos sacrifices himself to protect his fellow Eternals and humanity. He uses his technological prowess to create a powerful device that can temporarily disable Galactus, but in doing so, he overexerts himself and ultimately succumbs to the immense energy involved.
