The demon Ivel has had enough of living in hell. He also regrets that he rebelled against God years ago and wants to make it all right. Together with him, one of the damned escapes from Hell - a murderer named Christopher who also regrets having killed his wife while alive. The damned and the demon become friends and take human form on Earth. However, other demons and even angels are in pursuit.
