Synopsis

Dear Richard, Do you remember the photographs you took of what happened to your train on the way to Waterloo in April 1967? Your Mother, very kindly, gave me a set and they helped our artist to draw at least two of the pictures for "Super Rescue". Anyway, "Super Rescue" is the story which your pictures told me. I hope you will enjoy it and the other three stories as well. The Author

Description of Henry the Green Engine (NWR #3):

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: I prefer to write and hear Henry as Male-to-Female transgender with the transition to being female brought on due to her accident with the Flying Kipper that necessitated her rebuild decades ago. So, only suggest FEMALE actors for the voice of Henry in MY projects.

  • ltathena For those of you wondering why I write Henry as female, my headcanon is that she was MTF transgender and the accident with the Flying Kipper and subsequent rebuild as an LMS Black 5 also came with a free gender reassignment overhaul from male to fully female courtesy of Sir William Stanier. And even before that, (when male) Henry identified as female and both the Fat Controller and the other engines respected it by using the preferred female pronouns in talking with and about her.
