Earthsea is a world of hundreds of islands surrounded by an uncharted ocean. The story follows the life of the wizard Ged, who travels to the island of Roke to learn the true way of magic. During his journeys he helps the high priestess Tenar escape the sinister Tombs of Atuan and embarks with the young Prince Arren to the farthest reaches of the world – even beyond the realm of death – as they seek to restore magic to a land desperately thirsty for it.
