My own new interpretation
In the distant future, Paul Atreides, the young heir to a powerful house, is thrust into a war for control of the desert planet Arrakis, and eventually, the entire known universe. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence, only those who can conquer their own fear will survive.
