  • Just some minor details because this isn’t my most thought out story: the older brother is the vengeful protagonist. He’s older and can remember Darth Vader marching into the Jedi temple and massacring those inside. He resents having grow up on the run, hence his more immediate rage. The younger son has only ever known life under imperial rule. Even though he also seeks revenge, he adheres more strictly to the Jedi code. He fights an internal battle between reason and impulse. The older brother encounters the believer and the con and his droid companion. The younger son meets the orphaned girl and the cynic. These strangers are meant to mirror each other is some ways, proving each protagonist with new perspectives on the people the Jedi once swore to defend (the girl is less kind to them, having heard the stories of child abductions and the believer being an idealistic young man who dreams of being a space wizard) and also those that haunted them (the cynic helps put a human and tragic face to the boogeymen the younger son grew up hearing about and the con and his droid help chip away at the older brother’s dark and brooding exterior.)
  • Yeah, so basically I watched The Green Knight and decided that’s what I wanted from Star Wars all along. So, basically, Willow?
  • P. S. I know Daniel Craig was a stormtrooper in The Force Awakens. Maybe his character got demoted.
