His reign is marked by relentless warfare and grisly displays of power meant to intimidate both his enemies and his subjects. His ruthless methods and unyielding dedication make him both a feared and revered figure across Eastern Europe. Amidst these turbulent years, Vlad faces mounting pressure from the Ottoman Empire, which seeks to conquer Wallachia and expand its influence. His relentless defense of his homeland becomes legendary, but the relentless strain of war and betrayal begins to take its toll. This is the story of how Vlad eventually became the first vampire that ever existed, Dracula.
