For anyone who happens to revisit this. Yes, I did cut some characters it was not because I didn't like the castings I came up with it's because I don't envision Dr. Seward or Arthur Holmwood in my adaptation. To sum it up, I'd have Van Helsing take up most of Seward's role, it's been done before, it works, and I have an interesting angle for it. As for Arthur, it's just a personal preference, I much prefer Quincey as a character, and I think for many reasons the story would work with him and Lucy as the couple.
