The Beginning
Universal monsters film 2: 1476 and vlad the Impaler is riding into battle to fight the Ottoman Empire. His army is slaughtered quickly and vlad retreats to a cave where he is bitten by a large creature resembling a bat. Over time he starts to realise he has abilities and a thirst he hadnt know about before. Leading him to reclaim his kingdom from the Ottoman Empire. End of credits scene shows Dr Jekyll reading a book on Dracula. As he closes the book we see Dr Jekyll turn and look at a man and says "welcome professor" referring to van helsing.
