The Original Tale of Horror Returns From the Grave
Jonathan Harker, a young English lawyer, travels to Castle Dracula in the Eastern European country of Transylvania to conclude a real estate transaction with a nobleman named Count Dracula. As Harker makes his way through the countryside, the local peasants warn him about his destination, giving him crucifixes and other charms against evil. Upon arriving at the unearthly old castle, Harker finds the Count to be ancient in appearance, and cold in his intelligence that gives the impression that he has lived for centuries. After only a few days, Harker realizes that he is a prisoner in the count's castle, and that the count possesses supernatural powers and Lovecraftian ambitions. Fearing for his life, Harker attempts to escape from the castle, and that is when the true horror begins, especially when Dracula sets his sights not only on London, but Harker's fiancé: Mina.
