In Marvel Studios' Doom Series, Victor Von Doom returns to his homeland, Latveria, after surviving an experience he had on Planet Zero that gave him extraordinary powers. Determined to transform Latveria into a powerful nation, he takes over the autocratic government and begins building a technological and mystical nation. As Doom advances in his quest for power and supremacy, he faces internal opposition in Latveria. Led by a group of dissidents, ambitious politicians and disgruntled citizens, this internal opposition questions Doctor Doom's rule and seeks to oust him from power. The series explores Doom's complex political intrigue, ambiguous relationships and ethical challenges as he faces an internal threat that puts his authority and reign at risk.
