  • apersonwhofancasts The story begins in 1908, Latveria, when Cynthia von Doom hiding from guards in Latveria after attempting to start a revolt against Latveria. Cynthia is stabbed to death by a guard and as she dies, Cynthia's husband Werner promises to take care of there son Victor. Despite his promise, Werner abandons his son and leaves him to fend for himself. A family friend, Boris Karela takes care of Victor for the rest of his childhood until he's an adult. When he's an adult he moves out of Latveria and meets Reed Richards and his best friend Ben Grimm. Eventually, the three become entangled with Sue Storm and her brother Johnny. All five of them being geniuses, they go on a space mission where everyone gets a sort of power. In this freak accident, Victor is left scarred and once again abandoned by the people he called his friends. Victor later goes back to Latveria and rules it. He creates Doombots that roam and patrol the streets, ultimately becoming a villain and setting up Avengers: Doomsday.
