When the Banana Hoard, the source of the Jungle Kingdom’s peace and prosperity — has every banana down to the last peel stolen by the exiled King K. Rool and his Kremling army, Donkey Kong must rise from a lazy show-off to a true hero. Cranky Kong refuses to help, believing DK is too immature to handle real responsibility. With the help of Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, and Funky Kong, DK embarks on a dangerous quest across the Lost Islands, guarded temples, and murky swamps to recover the Golden Banana Idol and prove himself worthy of the Kong name.
