Story Plot

When the gruesome killing of a local cheerleader disturbs the idyllic suburban town of Harper's Cove, California, adolescent loner Kitty Fowler begins to suspect that there's more going on than one simple death. But as more bodies pile up and more clues rise to the surface, it's up to her and an unlikely group to uncover the dark truth beneath their town that threatens to upend everything they know.
