Doctor Who returned to BBC One for 1 night only in 1996 with a 90 minute TV Movie starring Paul McGann. This TV Movie was a co-production with the BBC & Fox. The TV Movie was hoped to be a backdoor pilot for a potential full series of Doctor Who.
