Synopsis

The American version of Doctor Who started in 1963. It ran on CBS until 1989 before being picked up by FOX in the 90's and then HBO in the 2000's. Much like the actual Doctor Who series, the doctor is a revolving role that changes with each era. The doctor travels in a 1960's US metal and glass telephone booth that can travel through space and time. The telephone booth appears empty from the outside and the door is locked. However, when the doors are open the actual interior of the Doctor's TARDIS is revealed. It is truly bigger on the inside.

Description of 3rd Doctor (The Doctor (1970 - 1975)):

With the show picking up in popularity, CBS throws more money at it leading to hiring a more action oriented 3rd doctor. This doctor spends the least amount of time in space and fights along side Division X of the FBI foiling various plots usually revolving around aliens and other weirdness attacking the United States.
