Fan Casting Doctor Who Season 54 (2017)

For Chrissie's first trip, the Doctor decided to use the randomiser, after Chrissie said that she felt overwhelmed and was unsure where she wanted to go first. The Doctor and Chrissie arrived on Earth in 2120, and began investigating an explosion, which many people believed was caused by the God Vajahnari, who the Doctor didn't believe in. After befriending a young girl named Robbie, who was the only person in the village not to believe in Vajahnari, the Doctor, Chrissie and Robbie confronted Simone, the leader of the community. After another explosion killed two more residents, the Doctor helped Robbie convince most of the residents that Vajahnari was a lie, causing them to turn their backs on Simone. The Doctor, Chrissie, Robbie and Simone were suddenly transported away, and soon found themselves in the domain of Vajahnari, who was indeed real.
