In a future where the country is run by a semi-totalitarian government, skilled individuals known as Divers are used to hijack people's minds and collect information. When an experienced Diver happens upon the disturbing and terrifying psyche of a legendary serial killer, the society she has become accustomed to begins to peel apart.
