A live action remake of the beloved 2010 animated film of the same name, Tangled follows our protagonist Rapunzel, who lives in her tower with her mother -who unbeknownst to her is actually her kidnapper, and her real parents are the king and queen of the kingdom-; she isn't allowed out the tower for her own safety, and her only dream is to personally see the floating lights that appear every year on her birthday. She gets her chance when an intruder comes into her tower; the intruder turns out to be Flynn Ryder, a notorious thief on the run from the authorities after stealing the lost princess's crown. The two strike a deal that mutually benefits their causes, and what follows is an adventure full of comedy, romance, and frying pan fighting.
