Fan Casting Disney/Pixar's CARS (WITH HUMAN CAST) (LIVE ACTION)

This live action remake will have the car characters portrayed as humans, but they will drive the same vehicles that the characters were modeled after in the old movie. Lightning McQueen is a rookie racecar driver who only cares about winning, and he doesn't like his sponsor, Rust-eze (because it involves being around rusty cars). He and his driver head to a California for a tiebreaker race, but in the middle of the night, some punk drivers cause him to drive off course and then end up lost in Radiator Springs, a little town that has been long-bypassed ever since the interstate road was built. Upon arrival, he accidentally damages the main road during a police chase, and so he's forced into community service by repaving the road. During the last five days, Lightning learns that the town's judge was a famous racer, but the other residents don't know.
