Dishonored: The Brigmore Queen is a 2024 American witchcraft film co-written, co-produced and directed by Zack Snyder. A sequel to Dishonored, it is the second installment in the Dishonored film series. The film stars an ensemble cast including Josh Duhamel, Emilia Clarke, Patrick Stewart, Clea DuVall, Kristen Wiig, Blake Lively, John Travolta, and Halle Berry. It is set during the future of an old weary Corvo, who protects his daughter who was named empress years after her mother was murdered, but instead of being killed, she was imprisoned by being cast into stone, and Corvo is blamed for the crown killer murders. Corvo escapes and gets the mark of the outsider back after it was taken by Delilah, and finds a way to free Emily. The Brigmore Queen was released on December 28th, 2024; it grossed over $718 million and surpassed its predecessor. The film received generally positive reviews from critics, who complimented its visual effects, action sequences, tone, music, cinematography, direction, and the performances of Duhamel, Clarke, Stewart, Wiig, and Berry. A sequel is in development, with Duhamel set to reprise his lead role as Corvo and Snyder set to direct again.
