Based on the original 1949 Suspense radio program of the same name. A husband and wife get into their car following a movie date. They begin driving home to their children, but are horrified to learn that an escape fugitive has taken refuge in the back of their car. Somewhere between theatre and home, the couple must figure out how to outsmart their desperate backseat driver. The plot twist will reveal that both Joe and Ellie Charles are off-duty police sergeants and the time the audience believes they are at the killer's mercy they are luring him into a trap. read more

Description of Motorcycle Police Officer:

Rookie cop who grew up in the Charles Neighborhood, and refers to them as Mr. and Mrs Charles rather than Sergeants. They successfully get the message, when Joe begins talking smack. They say that the killer is new in the neighborhood and the address is slyly given as the Charles' own address. The trap set, the motorcycle cop arrives ahead of time and lies in wait at the Charles' house.
