Fan Casting Peter Parker in Dimensional Collide

Bitten by a radioactive spider and gaining superpowers while in high school, Peter Parker first tried to use his powers to become a celebrity until the night a criminal he let escape killed his uncle and surrogate father Ben. Swearing to use his powers to help people, Peter became a superhero, even into adulthood. One night, Spider-Man comes upon one of the Kingpin's operations -- with help from strange criminals, including people he thought were fictional. Weirder still, he's eventually approached by another fictional character, the cyborg police officer RoboCop, to form an alliance with two other heroes: Batman and Birdy Cephon.
