Learning that Donald Johnson, Ra's al Ghul, the Kingpin, and Christella Revi have expanded their alliances into other universes and realizing RoboCop, Batman, Spider-Man, and Birdy Cephon will likely adapt accordingly, the Joker and the Green Goblin decide to act accordingly and opt to bring in their own counterparts. This Norman Osborn oversaw his company's attempt to recreate the super soldier serum that created Captain America — which eventually through chance would result in his universe's Peter Parker gaining his powers. This Osborn is also the one who killed his universe's Spider-Man.
