Long ago, the Digimon Meicrackmon was cheated out of a chance to become one of the Devas, the Digimon that follow and learn from the Four Hely Beasts. Out of resentment, Meicrackmon unleashed the Four Ferocious Beasts that have long served as the Holy Beasts' archenemies, and both it and the Ferocious Beasts were sealed away. However, due to incompetence on the Devas' end, Meicrackmon is unsealed years later and has begun to awaken the Four Ferocious Beasts once more! As punishment, the Devas were stripped of their powers and sent to the human world, where they were set to partner with twelve humans who would hopefully teach them how to work on their flaws. Together, the Devas and their new human partners must seal Meicrackmon and the Four Ferocious Beasts before they destroy the Digital World...
