Candlemon is a mischievous Digimon who got into a lot of trouble by pulling pranks and causing other petty mischiefs, and was sentenced to be imprisoned for life for its crimes. However, Arcturusmon stepped in, and argued that Candlemon was just misguided and needed a mentor, so it sponsored Candlemon and set it on a better way in life. Candlemon still has a mischievious streak, but its much less malicious now and more happy to delight others with its awful puns and jokes.
