Deus Ex: Invisible War, set two decades later, features Alex D, a clone of Denton, navigating a world still reeling from previous events, where various factions, including remnants of the Illuminati and a Denton-led group, vie for dominance. Throughout the series, players' decisions critically influence the narrative, exploring themes of control, freedom, and the ethical implications of human augmentation.
