Despicable Me is about the villain Gru, who adopts three orphan girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, to help him steal the moon. His plan is complicated when the girls, originally adopted to facilitate his entry into the lair of his rival, Vector, begin to see him as a potential father. Gru ultimately chooses the girls over his villainous pursuits, leading to a heartwarming and humorous story about found family.
