The other nuns treat the two passive-aggresively, assuming that they have brought the storm. Sister Beth welcomes them with open arms, but Sister Marta is more cautious. At dinner, Samara hallucinates that they are eating intestines, and throws up at the sight, causing even more distrust from the other sisters. As weeks go by, all the blame ends up being turned on Sister Lily, who they believe is the demon Lilith in disguise. Father Joseph tries to sexually assault Samara, but Sister Lily intervenes, ultimately causing her to be hanged by the other nuns. Sister Edith screams at Samara to get out of their church, when she is suddenly pushed off the stairs by an invisible force. She falls and breaks her neck, dying instantly. That night, Samara sees a man outside her window. The next day, she threatens to expose Father Joseph if he doesn't admit that Sister Lily was not Lilith. He begrudgingly agrees. Samara is beginning to take a hold on the other nuns, causing them to look up to her, much to Sister Beth's anger. She confronts Samara, and she pushes Samara out of a window. Astonishingly, she is unharmed. She tells everybody what Sister Beth did, and she is locked up in a catacomb to starve to death. The other nuns now idolize her so much, that they put her above god. She has sex with Father Joseph, before slitting his throat. Samara calls out one of the nuns, and the nun sacrifices herself as ordered by Samara. Samara reveals to Sister Marta that she is, in fact, Lilith, and threatens to kill her if she tells anyone. That night, Sister Marta kills Samara, but is caught by the nuns and is forced to walk off the Eiffel Tower, dying on impact. The other nuns mourn Samara's death and create a statue in honor of St. Samara as Lilith watches in the distance.
