Degrassi is a Canadian teen drama television series, set in the Degrassi fictional universe created by Linda Schuyler and Kit Hood in 1980. Degrassi is the fourth fictional series in the Degrassi franchise, following The Kids of Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High, and Degrassi High. Description of Tristan Milligan:

Tristan is the younger brother of Owen who aspires to be on top of the Degrassi social ladder. Tristan is brash and snarky and openly gay and makes no apologies for it. Despite his attitude, he is fiercely loyal to his friends. He's also longs for romantic love; he crushed very hard on Miles during a summer semester in Paris and when Miles tells him he was straight, he was heartbroken. He later crushes hard on his drama teacher, Grant Yates.
