A supporting character from the 1962 animated film Gay Purr-ee. Voiced by Judy Garland, Mewsette is a farm cat living in France who wants to experience the city life in Paris, so she goes there alone. However, she is manipulated by a con man cat into joining a mail-order bride service, so her lover, Jaune Tom, must travel to Paris and rescue her.
