Amethyst Hansley, a 14-year-old teen girl and her best friend, Dottie Cromwell try to solve their problems in ninth grade, and transform into defenders and save Hillwood from getting burnt down to ashes. Remi Marwood (Amethyst's rival) is known as a "lone wolf" and also tries to protect HER city from danger, but is also known to destroy anything that gets in her way. Along with Eira Fields and Lilly Hayes (who are in Mrs. Whitlock's class) also try to protect the world.
