Story Plot

Death Note: Short Stories is a compilation book comprised of six chapters, most are self-contained one-shot chapters. The main four chapters are C-Kira, a-Kira, L and Taro Kagami. The book was released on the 4th of February 2021 and was written by Tsugumi Ohba and drawn by Takeshi Obata, the same duo who also worked on the main Death Note Manga. Hopefully some studio will one day adaptate these stories into a couple of anime shorts (or OVA’s).

    For those who are wondering why I didn't cast Cathy Weseluck as Near, it's because Near was 13 years old during the end of the actual Manga. The short Stories takes place 4 to 8 years after, which means Near is between 17 to 21 years old therefore I thought it fitting to cast a different actor cause the character is now an adult
