Description of The Onryō (Sadako Yamamura, 山村 貞子):
Sadako was the daughter of a famed Japanese seer. When a journalist called her mother a fraud, Sadako’s powers surged and the journalist was struck dead. Deemed a threat, Sadako was lured to a well and pushed inside. Her violent wrath manifested into a cursed videotape that condemned viewers to a chilling fate. Decades later, a dark torrent flooded the well, swallowing her. She awoke on desolate beach as a thick black fog caressed the stormy waters. She walked into a coming wave and slowly disappeared into the opaque fog.
