Description of Steven Holman / ‘Shaun Werner’ (The Lost Son / The Paperboy):

The Holmans are a family from New York who have gotten lost in the fog while trying to find the nearby town of Charmaine. When they pop a tire, the family knocks on the door of an empty house, where they are attacked by some locals, who have laid a trap and been waiting. The family escapes to their partially-functioning car and drives away, only to crash off the road and into a ravine after the locals moved the warning signs from the dangerous area. Prior to his death, he was sick of his parents fighting and occupied himself with a video game. They are next seen introducing themselves to Janet as The Werners. ‘Shaun’ is excited at having a paper route, and having new friends. Aged 10-11
