Description of Linda Holman / ‘Lesley Werner’ (The Lost Wife / The Florist):

The Holmans are a family from New York who have gotten lost in the fog while trying to find the nearby town of Charmaine. When they pop a tire, the family knocks on the door of an empty house, where they are attacked by some locals, who have laid a trap and been waiting. The family escapes to their partially-functioning car and drives away, only to crash off the road and into a ravine after the locals moved the warning signs from the dangerous area. Prior to her death, Linda was bullied by her husband and very quiet. They are next seen gleefully introducing themselves to Janet as The Werners. Linda, now Lesley, opens a flower shop with her now-doting husband. Aged 35-45
