    The ending of the movie shows a montage of people celebrating the defeat of Darkseid, Superman hugging his family, him being praised around by the governments of the world and news outlets, and him talking to other heroes about a united front of heroism for the world which would lead to the creation of the Justice League. The final scene is an older Clark and Lois passing down the Superman mantle to a older more adult Jon Kent, who becomes the new Superman as he soars into space before winking to the camera.
