Synopsis

The story follows a depressed and broken Richard Grayson struggling to deal with the death of Bruce Wayne. He grapples with the matter of his identity. Grayson ultimately is inspired to take up the mantle of Batman, after the ailing Alfred is murdered by Scarecrow. Grayson faces old and new enemies, and makes new allies, as he learns what it means to be Batman.

Description of Talon (John Grayson):

John didn't actually die in the horrific circus accident that killed his wife and one son. He was taken away by the Court of Owls to be used as their pawn. He is tasked with taking out the new Batman, and stopping the League of Shadows from burning Gotham down. As both Batman and the League are perceived as threats to the hold the Court has on Gotham.
