Synopsis

The story follows a depressed and broken Richard Grayson struggling to deal with the death of Bruce Wayne. He grapples with the matter of his identity. Grayson ultimately is inspired to take up the mantle of Batman, after the ailing Alfred is murdered by Scarecrow. Grayson faces old and new enemies, and makes new allies, as he learns what it means to be Batman.

Dr. Crane is embroiled in a vicious gang war against Killer Croc. Little do they know, they are both being manipulated by a mastermind, Edward Nygma. Even Crane murdering Alfred is part of Nygma's plan.
