Synopsis

The story follows a depressed and broken Richard Grayson struggling to deal with the death of Bruce Wayne. He grapples with the matter of his identity. Grayson ultimately is inspired to take up the mantle of Batman, after the ailing Alfred is murdered by Scarecrow. Grayson faces old and new enemies, and makes new allies, as he learns what it means to be Batman.

Description of Mrs. Freeze (Nora Fries):

After Nora's husband discovered the cure for her disease, he awakens his wife from her cryogenic state. He is not in good shape though. With his last breaths, he tells her to use his equipment and make the Batman pay for delaying Fries' progress. Nora accepts this mission from her dying husband.
