Surge and Kit were both offered positions in Team Dark and the Diamond Cutters. Both would fit perfectly. But after working together as a team fighting for good, they decide to live with their families and become their own duo, like how Sonic and Tails were when the met. Surge thanked Sonic, Amy, and Shadow for everything they did for her. Finding her mother. Starline's arrest. Now the anger and pain is gone. She'll take Kit under her wing, visit the Prower house every week or so. In a way, it seemed like Surge and Kit were like inseparable siblings.
