Robotnik has awakened the ultimate lifeform, created by his own grandfather Gerald, so he could have him destroy Sonic and conquer Mobius once and for all. This might as well be his deadliest plot yet. Sonic and his friends investigate sightings of a mysterious hedgehog until they finally see that the hedgehog they're looking for is actually Robotnik's ultimate lifeform: Shadow the Hedgehog. Description of Scond Post Credit Scene (The White and the Purple ones):

Eggman was ranting about how Shadow betrayed him when a portal opened in his lab revealing three figures from the future known as Silver, Blaze and Mephiles. They were warned about the Iblis Trigger, one that awakens the all-powerful fire beast Iblis, that destroys Mobius in the future. When Eggman realizes it's Sonic, he's overjoyed to work with them to destroy him. Little do he, Silver and Blaze know, Mephiles is tricking them into ending the world, for Sonic is not the Iblis Trigger, but Mephiles all along! With Sonic gone, he'll release Iblis and unleash havoc on the past.
