  • autobotsonicfan2007 @giacomooffredi (This is the scene where Shadow sees Eggman's true colors.) Shadow: Doctor. Is this what Maria would have wanted? Eggman: Why would ask the same question as the owl you killed? Shadow: Because it's about her. If she were alive . . . would she want Earth OR Mobius destroyed? And why destroy a planet that has nothing to do with Maria? (Eggman was torn between keeping his cool and telling Shadow his true intentions. So, he went with the second option, his voice raising in anger each sentence.) Eggman: I'll tell you. I started an unnecessary war on Mobius years ago. Killed innocent people AND Mobians. But I lost. Then Earth banished me to Mobius, where I got beaten time and time again by the spawn of my arch enemy!!! AND YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH?!?!?!

How much you want to avenge the days on Earth she couldn't have. And we have all seven Chaos Emeralds just like we planned. Shadow: It's not any of that. Eggman: What is it then? Shadow: It's about that owl. How come the blue hedgehog mourned for her? I haven't seen anyone grieve like that . . . in 50 years. When it was myself . . . the day Maria died.

It’s not over yet, you hedgehog! Just you wait and I’ll—Hope: Ivo. Quit it, it’s over. Eggman: Ho-Hope?! Hope: You’re alone now. It’s the end of the line. I must confess that your plan….no, our grandpa’s plan was only fueled by anger and grief. But you, Ivo. You had no excuse. (Hope shows Eggman the handcuffs meant for him) There’s no running away for you, this time.
