Darth Bane is an American sci-fi television series based on the Star Wars universe's character of the same name. Darth Bane is a Sith Lord who originally appeared in the Star Wars expanded universe novel "Darth Bane: Path of Destruction" by author Drew Karpyshyn. The persona is renowned for his brutality and cunning, as well as for his involvement in creating the Rule of Two, which establishes that there can only ever be two Sith Lords at any given moment. The television show will look into Darth Bane's past and his ascent to power within the Sith Order. In-depth exploration of the character's early years as a miner on the planet Apatros, his ultimate realization of his Force sensitivity, and his training with the Sith Lord Qordis are all expected in the next television series.
